This Angelia 2017 from winery Buil & Giné is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Grenache and 5% Carignan and Merlot . The blend has a garnet color with violet reflexes. Dry and complex, with a combination of black fruit confiture, cocoa and black pepper notes.
Origin: Young and old vines at high altitude (+500 meters).
Wine with a sweet entrance on the palate that develops into fruity notes towards the middle of the mouth, where we also find an important tannic consistency. It is a full-bodied wine, with a long and persistent finish.
The wine colour of the Angelia Reserva Especial is intense ruby red with violet reflections.
In the nose, the Angelia Reserva DOCa Priorat by Buil & Giné is intensely fragrant with aromas of dark berries, blackberry and balsamic combined with a nice hint of pepper.
In the mouth, full-bodied with notes of ripe fruit, medium(+) acidity and medium(+) round tannins with a balanced freshness. The finish is pleasant and very persistent.

Game meat, duck, protein rich dishes, as well as sweet and sour dishes. Good with stews and winter dishes.
The garpes undergo fermentation separately at a controlled temperature between 26ºC and 28ºC. The maceration is long, lasting about 24 days. After that, malolactic fermentation is carried out, ending with the blend for the barrels. The wine matures for about 14 months in French oak barrels at a controlled temperature (16ºC). After aging, the final coupage follows before the next step, bottling.
Recommendations: Drink at temperatures between 12ºC and 16ºC, and up to 15 years after making.
