Planetes de Nin Classic comes from the Finca les Planetes, 5 hectares of vineyards planted with Garnacha and Cariñena that are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels with their own yeasts. After fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months in the same barrel.
Planetes de NIn Classic 2020 is a concentrated red wine with aromas'of dark fruit, notes of ink and graphite and iron hints. On the palate, it is fleshy, elegant and enveloping. A wine with good freshness, polished tannins and a long finish with mineral hints.

The ‘Planetes de Nin Classic 2020 pairs excellently with tenderloin, roast suckling pig, roast chicken, stewed vegetables, lamb, brochette, Mediterranean cuisine, cooked sausages or to be enjoyed on its own.
Planetes de Nin Classic 2020 is a blend of Garnacha (60%) and Cariñena (40%), from the estate of the same name, with an area of 4 hectares and facing east. Moreover, it is Porrera's first Vi de Vila (town wine); in the style of the Crus from France, the new legislation (2009) of the Priorat DOQ recognizes and accepts the different climatic areas of the region with the aim of highlighting each one's characteristics, both of winemaking and of the soil and climate.
In the case of Porrera, this is a particularly cool area, with no over-ripening, and you only have to open a Planetes to see it and enjoy its sincerity, purity and balance, a real wine of the terroir, a true expression of the historic variëteiten of the Priorat: the Garnacha and Cariñena.
The vines on the Finca Planetes estate are still quite young, planted at the end of the 1990s, but the outstanding characteristics of the area and terroir, and the care that both Ester and Carles take in their cultivation and the entire winemaking process ( certified organic farming and biodynamic methods), allow us to enjoy a wine that is extraordinarily fine, elegant and complex, one of the best Priorat wines in this price range.
