This Joan Giné Blanc 2019 from winery Buil & Giné is a blend of 70% white Grenache, 20% Macabeo and 10% Viognier and Pedro Ximenez sourced from old vines of over 40 years, located in Gratallops.
This dry white wine shows fruity and floral aromas combined with a broad palate and great structure. Its complexity shows its prominent character. It has a mineral background, notes of ripe fruit and a buttery texture that comes from the bâttonage.
The different grapes for this wine are harvested at their optimal ripeness and fermented separately at an initial temperature of 14ºC. This fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the bâttonage takes place. After maturing for six months, they proceed to bottling.
