The Coloma Vernet Syrah 2024 from winery Terra del Priorat is a 100% Syrah (monocépage).
The wine has no filtration to preserve the purity and character of the grape. The youthfulness of the Syrah is rounded out by barrel aging. The wines have no added sulfites.
The Coloma Vernet single-varietal wines are not altered by coupage, they are primary, unique, natural, as the vineyard gave the grapes. The slate of Priorat enhances the ferrous and mineral character of these wines. The Syrah has fleshy and ripe tannins with notes of raspberry and cassis in the nose. The wine is aged for 12 months in French barriques.

This 2024 Coloma Vernet Syrah shows in the glass a deep purple-red color - almost black.
In the beautiful nose delicate aromas of raspberry, cassis and berry fruit with hints of mocha, young tabac and rooibos tea.
On the palate dry, full of lively acidity and fleshy ripe tannins.Flinty concentration on the palate. The finish has medium(++) intensity.
