The Coloma Vernet Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 from winery terra del Priorat is a monocépage of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon which you don't often find in the Priorat.
The wine has no filtration to preserve the purity and character of the grape. The youthfulness of the Cabernet Sauvignon is rounded out by aging for 12 months in oak barrels. The wines have no added sulfites.
The Coloma Vernet single-varietal wines are not altered by coupage, they are primary, unique, natural, as the vineyard gave the grapes. The slate of Priorat enhances the ferrous and mineral character of these wines.
This Coloma Vernet Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 exhibits a deep dark red color.
In the medium(++) nose notes of black cherry, blackberry, spice, vanilla and toast.
In the mouth dry and full-bodied with medium(+) ripe tannins and a nice depth and long finish.
