This 2019 La Capelleta is a monocépage of 100% Grenache Blanc.

This white wine takes its name from the place where it is produced, La Capelleta ("little chapel" in Catalan).

This 100% white Grenache wine comes from a 0.6 hectare slope that receives the first rays of the morning sun.

It is fermented in 400-liter oak barrels so that the wood input is more melded and balanced, allowing us to taste the grape variety well. After the alcoholic fermentation, it undergoes an aging with its lees in the same barrels.

The advantage of this method of aging is to naturally protect the wines from oxidation, but also to bring density in the mouth.

    In the glass a bright light golden color. 

    In this dry, bright and brilliant white wine we find the charms of white grenache, the complexity of the barrel and the freshness of the soil from which it comes.

    In the nose we find floral notes, flint, lime and white stone fruit with a hint of cinnamon.

    In the mouth aromas of boxwood, gorse and lemon peel mixed with exotic nuances. The wine is fresh, creamy and balanced with nice acidity with a long lingering finish.

    Pairs perfectly with:

    Sushi and grilled fish, white meat and a variety of vegetable and vegetarian recipes.

    The aromatic intensity of this wine, along with its richness and length on the palate, make it an ideal companion for all types of fried fish, such as sea bream or sea bass.
