The origins of Mas Igneus began in Poboleda in 1997. At that time it was the first organic wine project in Priorat.
In 2004, a new winery was established in Gratallops by Alfons Soldevila i Barbosa arquitech.
After 16 years, Igneus was acquired by Ornella & Jerôme in 2020.
In this new project Igneus was renamed Mas Igneus.
The entire vineyard is certified organic by the CCPAE. The wine varieties they work with are mainly Red Grenache and Carignan, but they also have other plantations of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and for white wines, White Grenache.
Currently, their vineyards are in Costers de l'Ermita in Gratallops, where the winery is located, Finca Comellars in Poboleda, El Maset del Boixó, where you can find one of their most valuable treasures, with vines over 100 years old and Finca La Salanca in Torroja del Priorat.
A total of 25 hectares of vineyards that bring Mas Igneus and their wines to life.
