In the mouth dry, medium bodied, ripe soft tannins with medium acidity. Supple and spicy on the palate with ripe black fruits, cedar, spices and a nice long finish.

Beef, lamb, stews, game, tenderloin, roast/grilled meats, Spanish jamon and hard cheeses.
Robert Parker gave this blend 94 Parker Points and described the wine as follows:
The eponymous 2017 Ferrer-Bobet Magnum is a blend of 65% Cariñena, 25% Garnacha, 15% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon mainly from own vines planted between 2004 and 2005 on llicorella shale on terraces and slopes, higher in Cariñena in this warmer year.
The fermentation took place after a short cold maceration and the maturation took place in French barriques for 12 months. This is fresh and elegant, a character of Cariñena on poor soils. The wine has good ripeness, but without excess; it has floral aromas's and even a herbal touch. It is supple and spicy and has a magical freshness. It has more Cariñena than ever.
Ferrer Bobet is a winery run by two old friends:Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet. As they themselves affirm, the operation of the winery is based on respect: towards nature, towards the Priorat, towards the earth and towards themselves.
