Red wines from Priorat - Miserere 2012

Miserere 2012

Clos de L'Obac

Druiven27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Garnatxa, 26% Tempranillo, 10% Cariñena en 10% Merlot

This Miserere 2012 from winery Clos de L'Obac is a beautiful wine and also the only one from the Priorat region with Tempranillo in its composition.

The special characteristics of Miserere 2011 (Mas d'en Bruno, 13th century) come from grapes from old vines - planted more than 40 years ago - of the local varieties Grenache and ull de llebre (Tempranillo) and from grapes of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Priorat, masterfully combined with grapes of the varieties Merlot and Cariñena.

These five grape varieties are planted on one of the finest slate soils in the entire DOQ Priorat area. They give Miserere the honor of being one of the most elegant wines suitable for aging in bottle.
