The Murmuri 2021 from winery Mas Doix is a white blend and consists of 95% twenty year old Garnacha Blanca, 3% Macabeo and 2% other grapes.
The grapes are picked by hand. Transport to the winery is in small 10 kg boxes. Selection by grape using a double selection table. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with 3 months aging on lees.
Annual production is 14,000 bottles.

Mas Doix Murmuri 2021 is a white wine with delicate aromas'of white flowers and fennel, and fruits such as pear, stone fruit and pineapple. On the palate, it is lively with fresh acidity. It is an elegant, silky wine, with a long and pleasing mid palette and considerable aging potential.
In the mouth dry, medium-bodied with a slight creaminess, lively acidity and nice freshness. Not a blockbuster but an easy white Priorat. Very nice minerality and a medium-long finish. A Mediterranean Spanish wine without wood.
Fits perfectly with:
Boiled, smoked, Asian cuisine, pickles, grilled seafood, white meat, rice with fish and fried white fish.
It is clear that the Murmuri Priorat is partly determined by the climate and the winemaking style Priorat DOQ. This balanced white wine from Spain is made from the Grenache Blanc and Macabeo grape varieties. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 350-450 meters above sea level.
